“We spent 2 days at the gorgeous Sunny Valley Resort and one unforgettable evening in the Dragon’s Lair Tipi! The resort is located at the end of a winding roadie the woods in Sunny Valley. When the iron gate opens, you feel you have been transported to your own personal paradise. The grounds are gorgeous with flower gardens, wildlife, a pond, and hiking trails. The tipis are all unique and no detail has been overlooked. We had wine and enjoyed the fire pit in the evening on our tipis private patio. Lovely amenities are provided in your tipi. For rest, relaxation, and rejuvenation, this is what the doctor ordered. Glamping at its finest! Highly recommend!”

“Wow this place is amazing! It has all the great things about camping without having to work too hard to enjoy them. The tipis are all uniquely decorated and totally stunning, all set on bases so you’re a couple feet off the ground. There’s a great outdoor kitchen if you want to cook your own meals, though I opted for the meal plan and I can say unequivocally that everything was delicious as well as nutritious. Various types of extremely tall and mature treasure all throughout the property and they provide beautiful shade as well as incredibly healthy air. There are I think 5 dogs roaming the property who are equally happy to either leave you alone or company you on your strolls or hikes. Two peacocks are strutting around and if your lucky like I was you’ll get to see them show their feathers. I came with the intent to stay three nights and I stayed for eight because I slept like a rock as a result of the nice cool evenings, the freshest air and an amazingly comfortable bed. The property is about ten miles from Grants Pass (there is a Tesla supercharging station which was great for me) and only a couple miles off the exit of the 5 freeway yet when you get here you feel like you’re far away from city life. That said, I took a day trip one day to the California redwoods as well as the Oregon Coast (two of the prettiest places in the country without a doubt) which we easily did by leaving at 9am and getting back for dinner about 8pm. If your looking to get away, this is the place, I absolutely loved it and will definitely be back again soon.”

“My husband and I had a wonderful and relaxing experience at Sunny Valley Resort. Every detail and need was thought of to make our stay comfortable and romantic while celebrating our anniversary. The tipis are beautifully decorated and are so comfortable and relaxing to sleep or just hang out. Danelle is a most gracious host who provided great service and the most scrumptious meals to us. The grounds are covered with beautiful tall trees, bodies of water, flowers, and gardens. We would stay here again and again. We can’t wait to go back with our entire family.”

"Highly HIGHLY HIGHLY RECCOMEND. My partner and I stumbled across this piece of paradise in the woods and felt like we were the luckiest people on earth. The resort is gorgeous 150 acres of forest land. We enjoyed many stroll down the different trails on the property. We swung in the hammocks and tree swing. Sunned ourselves on the gorgeous deck, watched the outdoor film at night, and snuggled into the coziest situation we have had in a long time!! There are the sweetest friendliest dogs on the property, which was an added joyful touch. The setting is private yet communal and I am just thankful that Danelle and her family decided to share the property with the world in such a unique and wonderful way. We can’t wait to go back."

"This is by far the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. I can’t even put into words how amazing it was. My friends and I went to get away from our busy lives for a night and to really become one with nature and we truly did that at Danelles property. She has an amazing soul that radiates fantastic energy and she was so welcoming and accommodating. The pictures don’t do this place justice it’s absolutely gorgeous and extremely clean. We went swimming, jumped on the trampoline, went for a nature hike and got to lay in the hammocks while stargazing and watching a cute Disney movie on the big screen. They also have a garden and they let us eat fresh fruit out of it. I couldn’t think of a better place to stay so if you're looking at this it is well worth the money and we will 100% be back."

The beautiful drive to the location has you in awe before you even arrive , your Fabulous host as well as creator of the grounds concepts and design will have you falling in love with with your experience from the moment you turn into her private road .Directions to the place feels like you’re navigating a magical path into the woods. .. as soon as you pass through the gates and turn the bend around the private fishing pond you will see the Fantastical Glamping Wonderland filled with more amenities than you or I could think of “ ABSOLUTELY SUPERB “ ! Amazing Host! Fabulous Accommodations ! Spoiled Spoiled Spoiled! I will always find a way to return to Sunny Valley Resort."

"My family and I have traveled to many special places in the US and Canada, and Sunny Valley Resort is definitely now added to that list. There is about a quarter of a mile of hilly gravel trail leading to the resort, but we navigated it fine with our half ton truck and 25’ Airstream. While on the gravel road, you may ask: “Is it worth this drive?”. The answer will be yes! After coming out from the gravel road, we found a unique and stunning property in the midst of a southern Oregon forest with beautiful teepees in which to stay. We discovered it while traveling with our Airstream, and there was plenty of room to park it and our truck next our our teepee. We are vegan and appreciated the delicious vegan cooking. As good as most vegan restaurants we have visited. Very kid friendly with a playground and lots of outdoor games (badminton, corn hole, pickle ball, trampoline, etc) and indoor board games. I also enjoyed the refreshing swimming hole on the property. We will definitely return and recommend highly!"
